Need WILD advice on entering dream

For some strange reason, I've had success with the FILD technique 6 times in the last 3 nights. However, only once have I been able to make it out of my bed and into a dream.

Here's the problem: Once I do the FILD tech, I feel my body fall asleep and it starts to immediately have that vibrating/tingling feeling. At that point, I'm able to relax even more and the sensations increase. Now, what's the best way to go from that stage into a dream?

When i try to get up I'm usually stuck to the bed, and usually end up waking up. Last night I has some success with rolling out, however, I woke up before I could stand up. Once I do get up, the dream world is always dark and gloomy and is usually difficult to see in.

The one time I was able to get into a dream 2 nights ago, I started to get tunnel vision and eventually woke up.

Any advise for going from the body asleep, mind awake state into the dream state?

      Thanks

btw, Moonbeam - I was able to try your advanced lucid task of the month on your sig. haha.

I don't experience the darkness around my body, but I would suggest you get active in the dream world as soon as you are able to move; meaning use your dream muscles, start running away from your body and perhaps kick or punch a few things. The idea is to solidify your paralysis while making your conscious transition complete.

My guess for these people (with the symptoms) is that they are just thinking too much. If you reach the stage where you are halfway in, halfway out, become as active as possible. The tingling (not the vibration) in the spine is the final step to complete transition. Strong vibrations are signs of difficulty, or rather, thinking too much.

At first, not thinking is the key, but when your dream body becomes movable and you can feel it, the focus shifts to using it like a crazy kickboxer until you are solidified completely; a state that you are sure of when you get there.

I think this is the most difficult transition when doing the kind of technique where you fall back asleep immediately after waking up. I also always get either stuck to the bed, stuck to my body, distorted vision, messed up balance and sense of up/down, disorientation ect.

The best way to get past it is to imagine some sort of motion, as Never suggested. If you are totally stuck in your body and paralyzed, try sliding your body around without moving it. Either float your body up and down, or slide it side to side along the bed. Rolling out of my body sideways seems to always do the trick for me.

Alternately, you can try to imagine yourself running around in a familiar place or an imagined dreamscape.
