      Problem increasing/prolonging lucidity HELP!

      Hey guys,

Lately I've stumlbed across a few highly successful ways of attaining lucidity for myself. I either use WBTB, or have a series of half an hour dreaming sessions in the morning before I actually get up for the day and get going.

Funnily enough, the most common way I become lucid is in one of the very last early morning short dreams I just kind of remember in a matter-of-fact way that I know I'm dreaming. The only problem I have is, even though everything is quite vivid, when I try to change dream scenes, create new objects or prolong/increase lucidity I cant. Evidently all of these lucids are pretty short.

Any ideas anyone? I've tried yelling clarity now, increase lucidity, looking at my hands etc.

You might also try touching things (I mean really "feeling" them) to stabilize your dream.

By touching.. I mean really "feeling" them. Get into how they feel.. are they hot, cold, smooth, rough, etc. (this also increases the vividness of the dream along with helping me remain in it longer).

Yep, I agree with Clairity! For instance crouch down and run your hands through the grass, feeling its coolness and texture. Run your hands along the walls... etc!

Yep, what Clairity said. Instead of rushing off to do your thing, wait for a minute or two. Take deep breaths, and use all of your senses to their absolute maximum. See every single tiny detail in your environment and fully, thoroughly realize you are dreaming.

Also, for increased clarity, try either clarity pills or glasses.

Interesting concept.. thanks everyone (I mean Clairity!) I'll try this next time and see how it goes.

And what are clarity pills/glasses Tank, do you mean creating their concepts inside the dream itself and then using them?

      Cheers guys!

Yes, he does. It works like a placebo. If you aren't a fan of glasses like me (though I wear glasses in real life), try the pills.
