Although I'm currently reading up on WILD and MILD techniques, I'm steadily trying to improve my chances of having more DILDs. I do this by keeping an active Dream Journal and by doing RCs every now and then during the day.

A couple of days ago I got an idea; What if I were to get myself a cheap digital wristwatch - of the kind which sounds a little "beep" every new hour...
Everytime I hear that "beep" I'll ask myself if I'm dreaming and do a couple of RCs. It would certainly help me do more, and more frequent RCs than I manage right now.

This investment I believe would help me in three ways;

1; It would help me do more RCs during the day and therefore increasing the chance of priming my subconscious with this habit in order to automatically do RCs in my dreams.

2; Chances are that I would be wearing the same watch in my dreams. Chances are that this dreamwatch would "beep" just like the real one does and with little luck a following RC would be executed by pure "instinct".

3; I could leave the wristwatch laying on my bedside table. Even though I drift off to sleep, the RL watch would keep beeping once every hour throughout the night. This is sooo 100% speculation, but maybe there is a tiny tiny chance that my subconscious will pick up this RL beep once or a couple of times during the night and then, in some way, transfer that signal to me, in my dream, and trigger me to do an instinctive RC...

I made a search for something similar on the forum but did not find any relevant posts. What are your thoughts about this - I would go for the cheapest watch available, as long as it beeps every hour - but could it be worth it? Or maybe I'm just thinking crazy?

Thanks for reading and for any and all inputs!
