Thread: obvious dreamsigns

Something that really does my head in is that i miss really obvious dream signs. Like i dream i'm in school all the time and i'v finished school, and also i dream of celebrities quite alot but i never become lucid!

Does this happen to anyone else and how do u sto this from happening?

I get a similar problem, my dreams are always very abstract and I miss on them being dream signs at all!

I would suggest doing reality checks whenever something even slightly out of the ordinary happens (I used to do it when my phone rang for example, which used to help quite a bit), that should increas the chances.

Have you worked out any of your otehr dreamsigns yet? The more mundane ones? I also find I get lucid from my signs which are often around in my everyday life too than I do from my more obvious signs.

OMG, I am sooo pissed. Last night, I found myself naked, outside my car and needing to take some clothes into the laundy.

I remember thinking to myself "Oh crap, this is not a dream, this is real life. How in the world am I going to handle this??"

So, don't sweat it too much, it happens to all of us, Alex made an excellant suggestion. Sometimes all you can do is to keep up your realit checks and go on...

Well, walking around in my underwear in the streets never does the trick for me, but school´s golden for becoming lucid (as it´s over)

OMG! This is almost carbon copy of a dream I had last night!! I have also been having REALLY realistic dreams recently with little things that I know I should pick up on to become lucid but don't!

Last night I was reading something in a dream and it looked all funny and remember thinking in my dream - "wow this is what it would look like if i was dreaming"

So yeah I think it happens! Annoyingly!

yeh iv recognised most of my dreamsigns but in my dreams i don't most of the time, but i became lucid in school the other day which is a step in the right direction.

Last night I found it impossible to look at myself in a mirror, and when I did, I noticed my eyes were very big, and I had tears coming out of them for some reason. It was almost cartoonish, but I didn't think this was odd at all! Then, I saw some friends of mine come to my door, but they didn't recognize me, as they were here to fix my digital cable box. My closet was full of girl's clothing, and I hopped on the school bus I rode back when I was about 7 or 8 years old.

WHYYYYYY??!?!?!?! How can I train myself to notice this kind of absurdity?

aahahah thats pretty funny , i have to totally agree with you there.Somtimes in my dreams i do the most weirdest shit ever and i cant do an rc the dream just flows and its annoying as hell.
