Smile Wild failed what i do wrong, tips?

Today i tried wild, for the first time. Ive been tramatized since my first experience, but now i dont care any more
I went to sleep at 12 am wokeup at 4:30 used the bathroom, and immediatly came back to bed. I find that if i stay up i cant all back asleep. so i lay down there, i didnt move the whole entire time. My body twitched, and itched alittle bit, but i did concentrate on it. I was counting breaths, repeating sentences, it was a mix from i think clairity's guide, and the original one. i did this for about 30 mins, then i felt as if i really reallllly had to get it up i couldnt take it anymore. So i took a chance and did a rc. I dont think my body was in sp, but i did feel kind of numb. Did i need to wait longer?Concentrate more? oh yah, i sleep with a fan on, and this music thing that gives relaxation sounds such as ocean, I find it really hard for me to go to sleep with out em both

"The temptation to quit will be greatest just before you are about to succeed.”
I don't remember who said that but it's very true. Before you fall asleep, your body will try to trick you into moving to see if you're still awake. You just have to ignore it.

Edit: I don't concentrate really hard, I just sort of observe. If you concentrate too much you won't be able to fall asleep. Sometimes I just have to 'let go' and fall asleep a little, if I remember in a few minutes then I'll most likely have a ld. If not, oh well.
