      Electronic Brain Stimulation

How effective do you think placing electrodes on the front of the head would be to stimulate the frontal cortex while your sleeping? I would definitely be willing to give this a try, but I don't have any electrodes.

I once read about an experiment where researchers found the rough location of the head where laughter is stimulated from. They did this to a young woman and she did laugh constantly.. even saying: "You guys are so funny, standing there like that."

Has the Lucidity Institute done this?

I would think not at all. Electrodes, which carry small electrical impulses, can probably only stimulate what they touch - which would be the skin and the tiny muscles right around them.

There has been some amazing work done with magnetic waves on the brain... actually temporarily inducing autistic "savant" syndrome. Without punching holes in one's head, that seems like more the way to go.
