Ok, so I usually try WILDing right when I go to bed. (I know it's not, like, the recommended way, but I do it.) I reach a state where I go in and out of feeling like I'm falling, and I also am staring at my eyelids, but feel sort of distanced from them. I don't get any HI, and no images form, so I'm sort of just stuck there. I then just get frusterated or get an ache and move. I've only gotten this to work once, and I was just wondering what other people thought. Thanks, any input is appreciated!

I have given much less attention to WILDS though I have had a few. I think the challenge you have here is a matter of timing. When you first go to sleep - in principle it should take 80-85 minutes before you start dreaming. You would need to remain consciously aware through stage 1-4 sleep before hitting REM. In practice this is close to impossible.

My suggestion is to get up after 5-6 hours and try then. Depending on timing, you may enter REM immediately upon falling asleep. Hope that helps.

      Enjoy

      i agree with him.

think about it, when you FINIALY get through that 85 min. you only have a 10 min rem period, so you waited all that time and only got a 10 min lucid out of it? that sux.

also you need to relax to get through. I like you dont see much HI when i WILD, and although its not required i bet if you relaxed more and kept you mind off WILDing then you might see some

      thats my 2 cents
      Total lucid dreams=88
