So far, I've only done MILDs, but they seem to work for me... I've never heard of a FILD before. where is more info on that? |

There are many techniques bantered about this board, many of which are experimental. I was wondering which people find the most effective. This should give us a rough picture of what the easiest and most effective techniques are in general. Bear in mind that no two people are the same, and that it may very well be that popular techniques won't work for some people, and that personal techniques may work for that person, but not for others. |

FILD: 3
WILD: 7
DILD: 4
I have only gotten DILDs for all my Lucids, many induced by RCs, and the rest just random. I have used HILD (as in the tutorial version) to assist in inducing a DILD and it helped. I like DILD the best, as WILD requires lying down for a long time and losing precious sleep (not for me), and I just don't have the patience for it. DILD's also the easiest to do. |

Finger Induced Lucid Dream. Its a type of WILD, except using subtle movement of the fingers to keep one's conscious mind active. |

MILD has worked for me but the others were DILD's, I unfortunately haven't had luck with WILD. |

Brothers & Sisters in Dreams
Looking at the votes, that largely seems to be the case with everyone. From the results at this time, we can conclude that the most successful technique is DILD. I wouldn't say that this produces the most lucid dreams though, many dilds that I have had have been short and only partially lucid. |
