I noticed many people prefer WILD becuase it is more reliable than other methods such as MILD, DILD ect. ect.
I myself have been working on other methods for months and have had little sucess, It causes lack of motivation and so on. The journey to WILD is a fun one (when you get closer and closer) what are your experiences?

I agree wild is more promising though I only had a few lucky times were I did it, each time my motivation shot up, and it could keep me going for a long time, and during that time I'd just hope I could have another and then start having them closer and closer together.

I have always thought WILD was too hard, too much time investment, etc. but because other methods are failing me I may try it. I really haven't given it a good effort; I think I did it once or twice by accident.
But if I continue to have trouble with DILD and MILD, I think I'll start seriously start trying it. It seems like the more successfull and experienced use it a lot, so maybe it is way to go eventually.

I usually use WILD and MILD. I usually WILD when I first lay down, and if I happen to be too tired and it fails, I have the MILD technique to fall back on and RCs of course.

I am in the habit of making about 6 different suggestions when I go to bed so using more than two techniques at once becomes impossible.

i really like WILDs but im not good enough at them to just have them at will. The conditions for me still have to be perfect for me to have one. So i do other techniques too, mostly DILD and FILD (although FILD has been very elusive so far lol)

I use WILD when my sleep schedule permits. I also use MILD on occasion, but dreamsigns is still my #1 method.

How often do you RC? Do you keep it as a thought in the back of your head all the time? I almost think that it what is going to end up being necessary for me--a constant low-level suspicion that it may be a dream. I don't know it I can manage that.

I have found that trying to WILD (for me) works incredibly well sometimes but not usually. Most of the time it only keeps me awake, which is something I can rarely afford.

However... once I've had an LD and awaken, I can almost always WILD effortlessly and repeatedly.

That's something I'll have to try.

Seeker--if you don't answer me this time, I'm never going to ask you another question .
