when I'm under water I just don't breath in, and not much water gets in

the more I think about it, the more I feel that this would be more difficult and easier to miss in a dream than actually plugging your nose. It's not the same as holding your breath but the action is so similar wouldn't you think in a dream that your just holding your breath and your mind would compensate?

It seems that the whole idea behind this RC is that we could learn it so people wouldn't think we're crazy. My question is when did we really care if people thought that we were crazy??? There's also the added bonus that I've noticed from actually holding my nose and that is people do notice and they ask me what I'm doing and I get to tell them all about how cool lucid dreaming is. I've got two people at school who when we're all sitting together chatting I can call out, "REALITY CHECK" and all of us will do a few RCs. They are fun to do after all.
