first, what are your dream signs?

If you dont know yours yet, why not look for coman elements in your dreams. those are your dream signs

Well I have noticed that my dreams the past 2 days have been relatively normal, instead of the occasional bending of physics of cars moving sideways, but that's only happened once. But I havn't really encountered anything weird enough to call a dream sign.

Edit - I've just began remembering dreams quite vividly maybe 3 days ago, and 2/3 have been normal enough to being awake.

it dosn't have to be wierd

for example, I have had spiders in several of my dreams, thus making spiders one of my dream signs. so every time I see a spider, I should be a RC

Hmmm yes, now that I think about it, I always seem to end up at my friend's house, or at Wal-Mart (where I work).

good! Now, picture yourself going to Wal-mart and becoming lucid there

Ohhhh okay I think I understand now, and what if it becomes an object, say I have a dream, and then write it down, and remember a distinct dream sign as an object, would I try to think of that object in a continueing version of the dream in my head?

if I follow what you are saying then that pritty much is it
