Most often members overlook that we can have audible sensations (HS) hypnagogic sounds as well as HI. In fact I think it is probably common. |

I found that the reverse blinking technique works well for me, if not only to help me fall asleep. While I'm "blinking" though, I will suddenly become aware that I'm talking to someone in my head, or singing a song (more frequent). For example last night, I found myself imagining that someone had asked me if I was doing something, in my head, and I nodded my own head in response. I have never attempted a WILD before, but this seems to me like something that would happen if I should try. I don't really know how to explain it anymore than that. I'll get very brief images and excerpts from a conversation or some other sounds. How can I use this to gain lucidity? |

Thanks for this reply, I've heard of the HIT but never looked into it. Ironically, after reviewing all of the techniques for almost a year now it seems like the most likely to be my go-to technique. I'll begin trying this immediately because I've already completed the first two steps unintentionally almost every night. Thanks again for the very informative reply. |
