Every time I try the WILD method, saliva starts accumulating at the back of my throat. When I start feeling light, I am forced to swallow my spit which immediately brings me back to normal, which is extremely frusterating. Any tips on how to prevent this from happening?

You can try 2 things:
1) Get enough pillows to have your head slanted so that the saliva can accumulate at the bottom of your mouth and you won't have the urge to swallow.
2) Keep the tip of your tongue pressing up on the roof of your mouth, which also will prevent you from having the urge to swallow.

Well, I tried to keep my tongue on top of my mouth, but eventually the spit just comes through the side and when there's enough, I have to swallow. I'll try the pillow suggestion tonight and tell you how it goes.
Update: The pillow method unfortunatly didn't work as it still accumulated near my throat, but what I found did work was sleeping on my side. I didn't consider this before because it is sometimes very uncomfortable for me to sleep on my side. If I could get used to it, it may be my only hope fore WILDing.
