Last night(more accurately early in the morning between 6.30 and 8.00 am) i had my first lucid experience during an accidental nap on the couch while watching tv.I had no nights sleep before.
What really makes it weird is that i heard clearly(during the LD) all the voices of the documentary i was watching at the time i fell asleep.The scenery was inside the dream and i was floating in the air however i kept hearing the voices from the tv.
What also made me wonder afterwards is that i didnt had to make an RC or recognize a DS during the normal dream to become lucid.I just accidentaly realized im dreaming.
Is this random LD going to happen more frequently in the future or should i concentrate more on techniques?

Also i would love to put my first experiences(for anyone interested) but i wrote that down in greek in my journal so i guess ill have to make a translation version and im pretty lazy :content:

you kno i had a similar experience yesterday, my roommates were watching tv and talking while i took a quick nap... then i just remeber going lucid and it involved my roomies, i was bouncing around yelling "im dreaming" and i realized i was dreaming @_@

It seems that ,as im a heavy sleeper ,when i lay down for a proper sleep i wont get an LD.My Lds hate my bed :?
However the couch and a table are excellent Ld triggers.And maybe TV is also a stimulant(though not sure)

I had my first delibrate ld while sleeping on a couch

EDIT: Also when i wasn't in my own bed i had a lucid

Wow! I'm gonna sleep on the floor tonight. I would sleep on the couch but i might slip off in the night and like...die. Lol.

As for your question slip divided, i used to have those randomly too but i only tended to have two or three a year until i started DV. I'd keep up the techs...although...i'm crap at LDing so maybe u shouldn't take my advice.
