      I wondered if it would be possible to Develop a technique where you can induce the Dreamstate really fast and enter DreamState Consciously from being Wide awake. Kind of like a Hyperspeed Consciously induced WILD. Now for this we must understand what conditions lead to the Dreamstate and add them Together in a Mind-tricking technique using some aspects of Autosuggestion/hypnosis, Deep entrancement, Physical Disociation, Relaxation and Super Potentiating Imagination of the Dreaming Mind.

      I want to start by Listing factors that Help induce DreamState real fast. I'll add my 2 cents of what I know might help. If any of you know any other conditions/techniques..etc that might help when added up please post them here. Post them like I do: Name of method, what effect exactly it has, background info..like a link with info about the method/condition. I made 3 different Categories: 1.Stimulating Imagination, 2.Disorientation/Disociation with Waking Reality, 3.Loss of awareness of the Body,


      1.Stimulating Imagination


      DreaMachine:
      StroboscopeLights in front of your Closed eyelids, Relaxation and extreme Imaginairy Visualisations.

      Marijuana (only for sinners mwuhahaha ):
      Smoked dried THC containing herb, Causes Severe Physical and Mental Relaxation, sensations similair to SP(Physical Disociation), Euphoria, more so connects your Conscious ''you'' to your Subconscious ''you'', Intensely Increased Imagination of the Playfull, Dreaming mind, Good Sleep aid in case of insomnia and Pain, DOES Supress REM-sleep; Dreaming Sleep, while sleeping!!! Don't smoke right before Sleep.

      (Ambient) Music:
      Inspires Imagination, sometimes unleashes subconscious emotions, thoughts and sensations, can in some cases induce deep trance. If you have any deep entrancing music/soundtracks please share them with us.

      2.Disorientation/Disociation with waking Reality:
      -PitchDarkness: Disorientating
      -Constant slight movement ( like a cradle): Disorientating
      -Bed,Sheets, Pillows all smoothly surfaced and precisely heated to constant Skintemperature: Loss of Touch-Sensory Cognition of your Real Surroundings of your physical body: The bed: Disorientating
      -Ear Plugs. Sleeping with Earplugs in will completely prevent noises from Waking Reality to wake you up and preventing to make you aware of your Real Surroundings: The bed, but keep you Dreaming instead: Disorientating.
      -Sleeping Mask: No morning light will shine into your closed eyes and wake you up: Disorientating.
      -Deep Entrancing Meditation: Disorientating, Disociating with waking Reality and focusing on your own Mind only.

      3.Loss of awareness of the Body:
      -Smoking Marijuana: Physically Relaxing, Helps induce SP really fast, automatically.
      -Comfortable Matras: Less pressure on your body will make it easier for you to disociate from your body since the external touch-sense is minimally Stimulized.
      -Taking a long, hot Shower right before going to sleep: Heat numbs the body and relaxes the muscles, it makes the Mind sleepy and lesser alert.





      Okay I wish to add more to the lists of Each Category and hope to develop a technique from there, adding up serveral of the listed factors, methods and conditions to Induce a Dream State very quickly and deliberately. And if it doesn't get us into the Dream then at least I want to find out how to quickly get as close to the DreamState from wide awake as is possible.

      Please share your thoughts and ideas I should add to the 3 Lists.

      allright heres my 2 cents then. i think being tired would help u get to REM faster than being wide awake but that is still only a guess im not totaly sure. so maybe you can try skiping a night of sleep cause thats like the ultimate tired. But then u wouldnt be very aware cause you will be so tired. So you might want to pair that up with some caffiene. Caffiene would keep you aware but not relaxed so why not listen to some music? calm music would probably be best. So my guess would be to miss a whole night of sleep, drink lots of caffiene when going to bed and listen to some nice calm music in a dark room to get you relaxed.

      your way is good, and i think it would be a good way to progress to eventually being able to LD anyplace anytime. as cool as it would be to instantly enter a lucid state... i think im going to have to make a weight loss analogy

      while i think that it would be amazing, Lucid Dreaming is something you have to work for. of all the people who have gotten into and become practiced LD'ers, ive never heard of one saying as sooon as they heard about it they could instantly enter the dream state, anytime anyplace, like right in the middle of a boring math class for instance. This strikeds me as maybe too good to be true. but then, on the other hand, LD'ing struck me as too good to be true when i first heard abotu it, and look where i am now.... certainly, it is a good thing you are trying to make progress in the advancement of lucid dreaming... it is good that we are tryig to move lucid dreaming forward rather then just sticking with what we have now. I will do all i can to contribute to this, though i think yur asking for a little too much a little too fast. progress comes in baby steps.

      SKA: What you are talking about is daytime WILD, also known as Astral Projection. I believe it is possible although I&#39;ve never experienced it myself. The factors you mention are highly relevant, inducing a state of dissociation with loss of body image, concentrating the mind, and so on. A few days ago, I spent an hour in a flotation tank (a dark tank containing a saturated solution of Epsom salts at body temperature, so you just float on the surface of the liquid with very little bodily awareness) and experienced a burst of consciousness into a timeless black void -- similar to some of my LDs.

      DV Expert Phoenelai has done some experiments using Ganzfeld stimulation with a light / sound machine and obtained hypnogogic imagery. So I think this is a viable approach. I&#39;m currently working on a hypnotic file that is intended to reduce bodily awareness and hopefully induce an OBE, and will post it for download when ready. Good luck.

      I was under the impression that your body needed to go through a few states before entering REM, unless you were doing WBTB, in which case instant LD is kind of non-existant...

      No, not neccesarily at all. The thing is. You don&#39;t just dream during REM-state, just more frequently, and during REM sleep you are in a lighter sleep wich makes it easier to remember the dreams during REM, since you&#39;re more concious than not REM

      Believe it&#39;s called Alpha / Delta Sleep. Don&#39;t know wich order it is though

      Ah&#33; This just crossed my mind a couple of days ago. I had smoked cannabis and taken one Rohypnol. This made me so relaxed, and drowsy but stil aware in a wonderful way. Never experienced that kind of feeling in that degree.

      I was close to WILD when almost sitting in a bed, or actually it was half lying down and sitting. Anyhow it was close. HI started + SP started to come on to me. Got very vivid pictures in my head that were similar to shoort dream-scenarios but then my friend disturbed me since he wanted another &#39;ciggarette&#39;

      Anyhow, this was from clear-awake state til almost wilding halfsitting in bed. But this is for the as SKA said &#39;bad guys&#39;
