Thread: Success Stories On Fild/hild?

i just read the "tutorial" on FILD/HILD. it seems too easy to be true, but i will defenatley be trying it tonight. does anyone have any success stories on this technique? if so, do you have any tips to staying lucid once i've done the nose reality check?

cool. i tried it last night with no success, but i'm going to try it again tonight. i think i failed last night because i let my mind wander. im going to try and focus on my fingers this time.

I tryed Fild also. I fell asleep and then I don't know what hapened. I really don't know when would be the time to do a nose RC. I'm too afraid that I'm not dreaming yet, I'm also concentrating a lot on my fingers so I just forget to do a nose RC. Any suggestions? As I read the tutorial it seemed like you should not think at all, it would be rally hard to do a nose RC after "not thinking". If anyone has any succesfull Fild experiences, please help.

Alot of people have had done it. The thing is that you do it when you are so tired that you will fall asleep within a minute. Do it very lightly when you wiggle your fingers. You should find yourself in a dream doing it.

I tried it once, concentarting only on my fingers, did an RC after a while but I was awake... But I'll keep trying.

What did you expect? You've only tried it twice, referring to your sig. I'll probably try it again and again until it finally does work.

well i tried it last night and my brother woke up before me and unplugged the alarm clock. so i didn't wake up to try it. ill try it again tonight.

Seeing as it's a good oppurtunity and you crave for knowledge I'll try it tonight for the first time

it worked once for me... I woke up in the middle of the night after setting my alarm and tried to fall asleep right away... I couldnt fall asleep for a hole hour... I started to feel myself fall asleep and i started having really short lucid dreams i then told myself to try to fild... I moved my fingers and did a RT with my nose i kept breathing and then was like HOLY S&%T then i woke up...

As I've said before: It worked really good for me ONE TIME! And a pretty realistic vision one other time. It was like the first or second time I tried it and I was so happy about it, but I have never gotten it to work again. I don't think I needed to do an RC, of course I never usually do in LD's. I just knew I was dreaming, but it was weird because I knew I was in my bed, and I opened my eyes and I was in my room but it was all weird and lit up, and I knew I was dreaming. Then had a long LD that didn't write down subsequently forgot.

OK I promise I won't post about this again until it works. I am going to keep trying. (Doesn't take too much effort if you are already awake. Actually I think now it helps me go back to sleep.)

Well, I tried again last night, second attempt and it worked. Unfortunatly like most people new to this technique I was booted out of the dream as soon as I realised I was lucid. I heard a large explosion and have a wierd vision of numbers, like my dream was rated in intensity, very odd

Going to keep at this technique
