I went asleep at 5am and ended up waking up at 7am. Way ahead of my alarm schedule. However I did try falling back to sleep only to end up waking up three times, but during that time my dreams ended up becoming more normal in scene and erratic switching to different subjects. I don't know how that will work with attempting LD.

I should buy an eye mask and natural sleeping pills. That might help me stay asleep longer.
