I doubt I'm the first to realize this, but this makes so much sense if you think about it. |

Dreaming Away..
Actually that sounds alot like my Idea of BILD: Body Incudtion of Lucid Dreams where you stay aware of your body and ''where you left your body'' so that the very next thing you find yourself doing besides lying in bed must be a dream. |

i'll try this tonight but i thinks its more difficult then it sounds |

Dreaming Away..
It sounds really hard, though it sounds smart the same time. I'll try it |

Sounds interesting, but I have one problem with it. When I dream, I often start as though I was in the middle of the day, maybe even a task. At least, this is how it is of those I remember. So, if I, or my dream persona, am convinced that I was not just in bed trying to get some rest, I would likely not try to RC. I often do not carry on the idea that I was just sleeping (it has happened though). |
|
Yes that has happened, But the key is realizing the the second you aren't in bed. If you go through half a dream before having the thought..."oh yeah, Im not in bed anymore." Then that is ok.... With a couple days of trying you will remember sooner and sooner. |

Dreaming Away..
Yer sounds like a mad idea... ill try it tonight... ive found if i ask my self to dream or lucid dream (I've only askd to lucid dream once and it wokred lol) it happens... so ill ask my self to realise what ever I do next must be a dream |

As waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown. These waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown.
From above a rain of ashes descends anathema. I will remain, forever will remain. From below, in my seclusion, look up to the sky to see See paper wings and watch them burn.
Okay, it didn't work for me first try, but I had a very long and vivid dream, so I am good anyway! |

I tried again the last two nights and just had normal dreams.... It's like I totaly forgot, but it worked great the first few times.... It is probably a lot harder than I thought, and just worked well because the expectation was there.. I don't want to try too hard, so a few other people trying it is great... let me know if there is any success.. |

Dreaming Away..
I have tried something similar; I have tried thinking as I go to sleep "The next person I talk to will be a DC" but I haven't gotten it to work yet. |
|
...Wait.. can you tell when you fall asleep or something? Because I can't remember within 5 minutes of the period when I fell asleep. |
|
hmm... I think I will try this as well and post the results in a week or two. |

I tried this last night, i have never lucid dreamed before, but it did not work... |
|
sounds like a defenate possiblity. i will be trying this tonight. i'll report back tommorow with the results! |

Ok tried this last night. As expected, I did not remember to RC untill I actually woke up. It interfered with my recall ablity because I was trying to do an RC and recall my dreams at the same time. This confused my groggy mind and could I only remember one dream. However, a few minutes after waking , I remembered a dream from early in the night. And a few hours later I remembered that I had a moment of lucidity (I never thought I would forget a lucid dream). I dont know if the RC method helped me become lucid but it definitly affected my ablity to remember it. On the other hand I was impressed with myself that I actually remembered to RC upon waking since this was my first tempt. Anyway, I think I will continue to try this; it may just take some adjustment. |

I've been doing it still for the past 4-5 days and also have been taking 25 mg of B-6 before bed... Ive had one lucid in that time, but there have been so many vivid dreams I'm actually starting to loose track of dream and reality, This is the first I've tried B-6..... It seems to do the trick in making dreams more lifelike.... which also works well with the "check as soon as you realize you are anywhere but lying in bed", method I described. |
