      Ok, so here's the situation.
I live with my parents, cause I'm .. well, young.

Soooo. If I want to wake up somewhere in the middle of the night with anything but autosuggestion, I have to use an alarm of some sorts. I can't use my "loud" alarm that wakes me up in the morning because it'll wake up my parents (I tried it once and they got really pissed). So now I'm using my Phone alarm on vibrate.

So what's my problem? Let's say it's 6:00 AM, and my phone starts vibrating like mad. The phone is under my pillow. There are 2 events that might occur:
      1) I sleep right through the phone alarm, and after a minute or 5 it just stops vibrating. I continue my sleep peacefully. BAD.
      2) I wake up, am annoyed, turn off the phone alarm, and instantly fall back asleep.

What should I doooo? D: I want to FILD or whatever, but I can't because I basically fall back asleep instantly. I can't put the phone on my desk in the other side of the room because it'll make a lot of noise and it'll wake my parents as well.

I have the same problem except my alarm is never silent no matter what. If you do wake up, motivate yourself more to stay awake for a bit!!

Before you go to sleep try autosuggesting, that you are going to remember FILD or stand up the moment the alarm wakes you up. So you wake up just enough to do a technique. That's just a theory. I have the same problem.

      Cool

LOL ok heres what I was doing for a while: My phone alarm is loud as hell, so I cant use that; there's no vibrate alarm. I use my calendar and put in a reminder with alarm. I can set it for whatever time and it will just vibrate for a couple of minutes.

But of course putting it under my pillow with just vibration on did wake me. So I started putting in my underpants. Something that close to the boys has got to wake a feller up, right? I know that may seem a little extreame but it worked for me. I am hoping afford the vibrating wrist watch one day put untill then I have to use what I have.

I dont do that all the time anyway though. I worry about prostrate cancer and such. LOL. I hate doing WBTB anyway.
DILDs and autosuggestion are easier. Though maybe I will start WBTB again. I do have a low LD count. Well I'm babbling so just try using calendar alarm or whatever have slient alarm and put it in your pants if you have too.

Oh I forgot. It did not work on my phone so I dont know if it is any good, but a DV memeber made a program for that called lucid weaver. Its a free download. Go to http://www.lucidweaver.com/.

      It's annoying I know!

Sometimes my alarm wakes me up sudden with a shock, and other times I sleep right through it. I use a Pokemon-Pikachu (tamagotchi-like thing) so I too, don't wake my family.
