RTs aren't working. My dreams want to keep me guessing.

The past two nights I finally started to do RTs in my dreams. The problem is that they are giving me false positives and I think I'm awake.
Two nights ago, I was dreaming that I was in my room and there were these UFO nutters that were trying to kidnap me. Then I had a false awakening and I was in my bed, but suddenly some invisible force grabbed me by the legs and started throwing me around the room! It was so frightening. When I landed near my lamp, I turned it on, hoping it wouldn't work, but it did work, and I was -like- "OMFG! This is real!" then I tried to crawl away but I woke up for real after that.
Last night I dreamed that I chipped a tooth, and then all of my teeth where shattering and falling out, it hurt really bad. I thought that this couldn’t be happening so I check my hand because in real life I had written “Real?" on it to remind me to do a RT and to my surprise, it was there. I start freaking out. "OMFG! This is real!" I also remembered a dream that I really did have a while ago where something similar happened and I was shocked that it had come true. After that I went to my parents and they were just disgusted by my situation but were only concerned about some trip I was supposed to go on the next day. I woke up shortly after that.
      so disturbing...
Anybody know what I could do to make my dreams less real or make myself more skeptical so I don't just assume reality because a light bulb told me so.
      weightless and alone,
you speed through the eerie nothingness of space.
you circle round the moon and journey back to face the punishing torment of reentry.

When you do a RT in your dream don't rely on things like writings on the hand. If I'm doubtful I always try to fly and that works pretty good. Otherwise read something, look away and then read it again, it really works, in my dreams the letters always changed. But hey it's not unusual to be deceived in case of a false awakening. I failed several times in my dreams before I recognized it and am often still failing to get the correct result out of a reality test. It's normal. Just be more stubborn in your dreams.

Best RC possible: LED clocks and stuff. LED digits.
(at least for me) they change sizes, fonts, colors, numbers and positions!
It's enought o make you lucid even in the most bizzare dream!

The best thing to do is to use more than one RC. That way if one fails, you can confirm that with the others.

However, there are times when your subconcious is really stubborn and you still won't realize you are dreaming.

RT's may be difficult to execute at times. It's just so hard to think when you're on the lucid dream/regular dream borderline.

I believe the only stable reality test is a memory test. think about how you got where you are, when you fell asleep last, and if you remember waking up. I think that's the only reality test that is foolproof.

Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.
