      Hey,

I read the HILD technique a while ago and have attempted it several times since then. I seem to have a problem when it comes to the SP part. I tell myself that my limbs are getting heavy but I just can't seem to do it so I don't enter the trance.

      Help?

No offence but everyone everytime I try that with anyone.. It fails. Just so you don't think im saying that without reason here are my facts. There are very few suggestions and they are not powerful, A hypnosis should have a re-entry suggestion and a few other reasons. I have considered rewriting it but I am far too lazy. You can find alot better lucid hypnosis recordings if you search the net.

I have actually been practicing Hypnosis for a while now and I have become quite decent.

I must say that if you wish to accomplish this form of induction, you need to work on hypnosis as a separate entity. Practice this separate from Lucid Dreaming techniques.

First try to enter a trance and if you can accomplish this a few times over, then start to add your suggestions. You need to remember that once you enter the trance, before you make any other suggestions, suggest that you are becoming more deeply involved in the trance with each breath you take. It is important to enter a deep hypnotic state before suggesting something such as lucid dreaming.

In adition to the above stated suggestions tell yourself during hypnosis it will be easier to achieve the trance state each time you hypnotise yourself. And also tell tell yourself distractions will only take you into a deeper trance.
