So I woke up 5 hours after going to bed, stayed up for an hour, then tried to WILD, but failed because I kept having to swallow spit and it was keeping my body awake. Eventually I gave up an just tried to go to sleep, but that didn't work so well either. I spent what felt like several hours trying to fall asleep.
None of that is the imortant part. After I did fall asleep I had a dream. In this dream my brother went to sleep and had a dream. I was able to see what he was dreaming. Eventually he found out about that ability and we decided that I should try to WILD, probably because we were trying to see if he could see my dreams to or something. I eventually got tired of trying to WILD (in the dream) and told him it wasnt working. He said that I was already dreaming. I couldn't really remember any reality checks, so I thought of an inventive method to determine if i was dreaming. There was a tall, narrow glass cylinder in the room, filled with stuffed animals. I had never seen it before, but I said, "If I turn this around and that one that we can see the back of is a caveman, then I am dreaming". I turned the cylinder, and sure enough, the animal was a caveman. Upon discovering that I was dreaming, I beleived I had succeeded in WILDing (in the attempt I made in the dream). I couldn't remember any of the things that I had wanted to do in a lucid dream, so I ran through a closed door and did some other stuff that I forget. Eventually I though "Oh shit, I'm think I'm waking up", and I did wake up, immediately.

I had my first successfull WILD yesterday. Unfortunatly the place I ended up at was under a huge horizontal window. I knew I was lucid since I was totally aware of me being asleep. Just seconds after I realized that I managed to pull off my very first WILD I heard a strange load noice coming from above.
I gazed up and saw this helicopter coming down for landing (ontop of the window). I could clearly see the glass bending to it's weight and I thought, hey I hope that glass don't break and then it broke (obviously). I raized my arms in cover and I woke up with a hefty twist sitting in my bed with my arms covering my head.
That was REALLY intense. Hopefully I'll have better luck next time :)

next time you feel your waking up, dream spinn. thats where (in a dream) you spinn around very fast like a lil kid
