      Quickly Effective LD tips?

I've given myself a few good reasons to get in gears and have one in atleast a couple of days.

      1. I've been having a few hard months and a nice lucid dream would be sort of like a fresh breathe of air. Where my mind can fantasize .

      2. I want to sort things out with my ex bf i (keep) breaking up with on and off. I need to talk to him, but now i've done it so much; he's afraid i'll do it again. And he regularly has lucid dreams so I am sure I won't have to convince him that he's dreaming if I find him.

      3. My birthday is friday! And it's be the perfect gift for myself, I think , to finally just have a spiritual non-restricted adventure like such achieved in LD. I've been unsuccessful yet close to obe in the past, but never there. And lucid dreaming seems like a much less complex way to obtain that non-restricted freedom.

Haha, so there's my story. Any tips?

Welcome to the forum, and happy early birthday!

Have you tried any induction techniques yet? The tutorials have some excellent suggestions for starting out. Also, if you're interested in the LDing Bible, you should pick up a copy of Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen LaBerge (commonly refered to as EWOLD on this forum). I like to read LDing-related material before falling asleep - it helps me focus on my intentions.

      Good luck with everything!

hm, maybe you should find him in real life and try to convince him it's a dream, then manipulate him into doing what you want. that won't really help with lucid dreaming though..

He'd probably do a nose RC, realized he was getting played, and then explode.

What, you expect him to just welcome you back with open arms? Well maybe if he is extremely desperate but anyways you should try the different induction techniques and maybe try a lucid mp3 or two.
