When it comes on, I try to lay very still and concentrate on HI's if any.
If your body jerks out of it automatically its due to a natural anxiety. Just remain calm as possible.

When I woke up with vibrating on my body, I think it was perfect way to attain lucidity. I immediately closed my eyes again and starting to get into dream (i was talkin to myself "this is a dream, this is a dream...", just in case I get there). I always felt I was on half-way to get lucid, but I didn't get it though :-(

I can only do it when waking up early in the morning (like two ours early). That way, I'm in such a "I don't care about anything" mood, I just want sleep, so its very easy for me to stay relaxed enough during the vibes, as well as stay concious enough as to know what I'm doing (I won't conciously fall asleep if I'm attempted an LD unless I'm really exhausted).

Anyway, vibes don't always mean SP. Look for the falling feeling right after a vibe, kind of like a rattling motor that just shut off. Last SP episode I had yesterday, I felt a few vibes, but it wasn't until the one where I felt a vibe, and then a falling feeling, kind of like a feeling that I was falling into myself. At that moment I knew I had achieved SP, and I did.

And you won't always go sraight into a dream. You'll be in SP for a while, just have some fun in there. You can feel some really cool sensations. Sometimes I'll get a dream quickly, other times it will just go black and blank for a while, and then eventually one will just slowly form.

This is a perfect opportunity to gain lucidity in the form of an "out of body experience". When in this situation, simply remain calm and try to seperate your soul from your body by focusing within. Whether souls exist are not is irrelevent as the "soul" is simply being used as a focusing point for gaining lucidity.
      I can because I know I can.

I've had some OOBEs that seem quite real but then again it could have just been a lucid dream. I'm not sure how one would prove they had an OOBE unless they were doing some realtime sort of remote viewing validation. If I've had OOBEs I never remember the so called vibrations (other than sleep paralysis). I think it's a matter of beliefs in OOBEs, I have them but not sure what they are.

i've only had a few but for me the vibrations leed to a spinning and accelerating feeling that lasts for a few seconds then i go right into the dream. i realy am a newb and i dont' control this it just happens to me sometimes. but the few oobe i have had always start wiht me laying paralized then before i float up more than a few feet out of my body it ends, very annoying.
