      Becoming more aware in dreams?

I have begun to notice that not only am I able to recall four full length dreams a night now, but I am also becoming much more involved in the dreams. I am able to have full length conversations with dream characters. I feel as though I have more power in my dreams. I am also starting to question things that happen in my dream. When I notice something that isn’t right I am able to say, "That’s not right, (blank) just defined gravity or physics." Let it be known that I have never had an LD. My question is this, is this getting close to lucid dreaming? I would like to know your personal experiences. In your time with LD’ing, is this the natural order to progressing with LD'ing?

A counter-question: how did you get to such a state of strengthened will power and intent to remember that many dreams and have such power in dreams all together?

hey thats interesting, a couple days ago i posted this:

i would say it is a path to lucid dreaming, and in my humble opinion, a very wise one. by increasing your awareness overall in dreams (and while awake), all dreams become much more real...almost like a lucid dream in which you don't know that you're dreaming. i have found that after noticing a significant increase in my awareness lucidity comes and goes much more fluidly. i recommend keeping up exactly what you're doing, and lucidity will come to you of it's own volition.

Thanks for the replies. I still have periods were I don’t remember any dreams, or only fragments. I found that the days of not remembering dreams from after a night of huge dream recall. I hear people talking about how they become lucid when they don’t have such a huge intent on doing it. I guess another question would be, does anyone else notice this pattern. One night huge recall, the next none at all or only fragments?
