Here's a technique that always works for me:
I use to get SP quite often before I found out what is was; as many as 3-4 times a week. Then a few years ago, I did a search and found numerous websites on SP and after I discovered what it was, the fear that came with each SP episode quickly subsided.
After experiencing my first LD a few months ago and joining Dreamviews, I find that my SP does not come as often anymore. But when it does happen, I can instantly go into a LD, and this is how.
I'm sure those of you who experience SP, know that it doesn't last very long even though it might seem like it does. So when I am experiencing an episode, I try to get up physically, even though I know I will not be able to while I'm in SP. I keep trying until the SP wears off and when I finally am able to get up and out of my bed, I find that I am actually in a LD. Then I let my imagination take its course.
Only problem I find with this technique is everytime I do it, I get fewer and fewer SPs...From 3-4 per week to once a month.
