Question 1: I tried it for the second time tonight, and a problem persisted- I didn't feel like I was tired enough to fall asleep (although I had only 6 hours of sleep from the night before coupled with the 5 of that night, and I WAS tired)

When one wilds, do you actually feel like your slipping into sleep- or is it, our bodies are falling alseep and our minds feel fairly waking life concious... Its confusing, I dont know wether to focus on sleep or conciousness, as remaining passive leaves me somewhere short of nowhere. Both times 90 minutes passed to no avail.

Question 2, When attempting self hypnosis with the method of counting breaths (ie, breath in 1, breath out 2) I actually felt like I was WILDing when doing this. I saw flashes, my eyes moved rapidly (not sure if it was REM as I did this 8pm), and my body became VERY relaxed. Will practicing self hypnosis, focus my attention so much that I wont be able to become lucid, or slip into a NREM sleep?

Question 3, Sleep deprivation, if I deprive myself of sleep, can I use REM rebound to have a night of more dreams,

Question 4, if we NREM dream, can we become aware of those?

Question 5, I read in the DILD tutorial post:

"These two kinds of lucid dreams differ in a number of ways. WILDs always happen in association with brief awakenings (sometimes one or two seconds long) from the immediate return to REM (rapid eye movement) sleep. The sleeper has a subjective impression of having been awake. This is not true with DILDs".

One or two seconds long? How the shiznit do people focus on their dreams then? heh,

sorry for the long questions, I'm quite eager
