I don't personally need an alarm clock. If I want to try a WBTB, I'll just wake up automatically after 6 hours of sleep. This morning, I woke up at 4 am and had to be out of bed by 6 b/c I had to get ready for school. After I jotted down a few notes about 4 dreams I remembered, I just rested for a few seconds and then started some WILD techniques mixed with a little HILD.

By 4:15, I started to feel movement that my physical body wasn't doing and I knew I was on the right track as I've attempted this before. The only difference is this time, I saw images which made me really feel as if I was on the right track. I did all I could to pull the images toward me or pull myself toward them, but the images faded away. One of them looked as real as possible and I knew I was only a few feet or a few seconds from touching it but it faded away.

By 4:50ish, I was almost ready to give up. I got up to go to the bathroom and went back to bed. I noticed after a while, my eyes were closed tight and I could start to see my bedroom and the digital clock with the time. I was happy but even with the image there along with the rest of my darkened room, nothing else happened. So at 5:15, I said that's it. I have to fall asleep now or I'll be dead during school.

I never feel asleep and at about 5:55, I saw the clock image again but a weird symbol with many weird curves on it form around my clock. My mom opened my door and even though I was still looking where the image was with my eyes closed, my mom's voice ended the image.

I guess this might be progress though.
