Staring at a fixed point for too long is actually known to wake up quite a number of lucid dreamers. You're interrupting the input/output mechanism and that's what dreaming is about. |

I believe it...This method was described in Carlos Castaneda's books about don Juan, the Yaqui "sorcerer". I recommend everyone read these books--fascinating stuff. |

This method may seem effective simply due to the nature of the effects that it causes but concentrating on something, really concerning one's self with a concept isn't easy to accomplish for many, thus, such a method as this one would be effective but only for those that have no problems with utterly dedicated concentration and leaving any concept in their minds. |
