      need help becomeing lucid

hey i need some help to become lucid. Last night i even had a dream where i kept looking at a clock and the time was never the same. While im dreaming my mind would come up with a logical explaination for this. How do I avoid this, AND remind myself to RC. I can never remember to RC while im dreaming. HELP! lol

The best way (I am merely quoting others, for I'm no expert in this subject) is to do it in everyday life, you'll make a habit of it soon enough. It is said that it's also useful to set "triggers" fo ryou RCing, mine are now whenever I see the colour red, purple (both odd, out of the ordinary colours) or the numbers 6 or 9 (I don't practice this in math class, of course)

      Patience

      The key to going lucid..

      Patience!!

It took me months and all the sudden, one night, I am dreaming. (Whoa really? =P)

Anyway I saw the clock and it was like being slapped in the face, " IM DREAMING! ".

Patience, it will happen when you LEAST expect it. Dont try too hard.

Funny thing is everyone told me this exact thing over and over and it didnt satisfy me, but now I see how correct they are!

Lucid dreaming is such a tauntingly simple thing to attain...

I have no recurring dreams as well, so believe me, you are not alone on that one. It takes a bit of time, a bit of practise and I find a bit of luck, and if you have all these things, you'll be doing well soon enough.

Yes, in the world of lucid dreaming patience is definitely a virtue. It seems as though you’re not associating the clock with dreaming. I also recommend practicing while you’re awake…think about dreaming EVERY time you see a clock whether awake or asleep. Soon enough, your brain should start linking up a clock with dreaming and you can do your RC. If there are any other symbols (dream signs) that appear a lot in your dreams, you should work on associating those as well.

      Good Luck!

Ha! This answers some of the questions I have posted too 8)

I have found that since I have kept a Dream Journal, some common points have occured at some point in nearly every dream. Sometimes they play a major part and sometimes make such a small part that they are hardly noticible. These are things I see every day and so if I do a RC everytime I see them, then that should help trigger my sleeping brain to do the same.

All I need to do know is to try and remember!
