Easy and simple new way to obtain lucidity

This is a technique that I have developed recently. It is a very easy way to become lucid. I have had a 100% success rate with this. (2 attempts)

After I have woken in the morning, I focus on a place that I know well or a route to somewhere that I know well (the route not the place) and I imagine everything about the place. Scenery objects, my clothes, people, and I do things. I try to recreate how I feel when you are dreaming. The real body must not be moved, but don't focus too much on that. This method requires concentration on the dream. You can shift all of you awarness out of your body and into your environment in a couple of minuets. Then you are lucid.

      1. I have only done this in the morning. I don't know how well it works in the evening.
      2. The sleep appears to end soon after the dream has finished.
      3. No need for a reality check because you will be aware of the slow wake/dream transition.
      4. This is not a WILD. No hallucinations or paralysis.
      5. I do not know if being tired or sleepy is totally nessecery.
      6. It is best to do this at a time when you won't be disturbed as it helps you to ignor the real world and focus on the dream one.
      7. I recommend this technique for begginers and for anyone who wants to fit in an extra lucid dream.

please try it out and/or comment

Ive done this before but never really became lucid. Its like going back into your dream. I found myself saying hey im lucid. But I was still aware of my real body.

it is a wild, you dont have to have the hallucinations and paralasys

      wake induced lucid dream

going from waking conscoisness to sleeping consciousness without losing awareness, you dont have to have any of those other things to have a wild

technically what you described is exactly how wild's are supposed to work, the hypnagogic state and the sleep paralysis are just byproducts of your consciousness changing states slowly rather than quickly like you described

good technique though, dont get me wrong
      Why?

I stumbled upon this technique quite by accident and now it just naturally happens to me when I wake up after about 6 hours of sleep. Except, I don't have to think too much about where I'm going... I just end up somewhere in a dream. (In fact, I don't think too hard about choosing where I want to be since I always figure the extra thoughts will disturb the process.

Interestingly, the dreams I have because of it are extremely vivid and clear, but I cannot hold on to them longer than 15 seconds (but I think that is an unrelated issue, since I can't seem to hold on to any lucid dream for any significant length of time.

I have never had a Lucid Dream before.

But every night, I can remember my dreams very clearly as if I saw a movie.

I should write these tips down. Maybe one day I will attain lucididy!

Yes write down the important points as soon as you possibly can in the morning. Go over them and make sure you haven't forgotten anything. It seems likely that you're already more than half way there and shouldn't struggle as much as some other people may. Keep mulling them over during the day and see if anyhting comes back you forgot to write down. You won't forget the first LD you have!

Do you mean write down the tips, or write down my dreams?

this sunds excellent and im going to try as soon as my questions are answered (im relativley tired cause i stayed up late) ok my questions:

1.so there is no sleep paralysis or hallucination involved and it is easy to do? (if yes then.. SCORE!!!)

      2. because you are entering straight into a dream.. and you are knowing your entering the dream do you instantley get lucidity?

      3. do you need very good recall?
need to actually start like trying to LD i've pretty much started that now kinda.

I've done something similar to this, except you don't always attain lucidity. I remember I wanted to dream about football so I thought about football after waking up, (on the edge of sleep), and then had a dream about football. I have never tried to go straight to lucidity, but I don't think it is that easy, otherwise there would be no WILD. You may have a special ability.

This is weird... I read this topic, didn't pay much attention to it, then stumbled on this idea a couple of mornings ago and come back to find that this topic discusses it!

I recently discovered that if I wake up in the morning, then relax and imagine myself doing something as I fall back asleep, the scene will gradually become clearer and clearer, and I will gradually have less conscious influence over it. At some point, there does seems to be a transition where instead of just imagining it, I begin to actually experience it.

I haven't yet managed to get all the way to the dream state, though. After a few moments, I suddenly become aware of how real it's becoming, but that causes me to focus too much on it, and it all disappears and I wake back up.
