Hi, |

I posted something similar to this sometime before, but here it goes... there are fast and slow wave sleep stages, right? We usually dream during fast wave sleep i.e. the REM. If we wake up in slow wave sleep or deep sleep we tend to be groggy. So if you wake up during REM it's very unlikely you'll be groggy unless you really lack sleep. From the looks of it you are waking up during REM stage. |

Can you post where you put it? The reason I'm asking is that I tried awakening this morning without moving (it seemed like it was quick again the transition). I was a little groggy and I tried doing a combination of ssild where for the vision part I visualized doing/picturing an anime character in my chair less than 6 feet ahead of me. For hearing I played a song in my head for 5 seconds. And for touching I sensed touching another person. Is this recommended? Or should I do just what obe4u says to do? |

Try practicing not moving or even opening your eyes when you wake. If you can get to where it is natural for you to become aware before you engage your body you can then play with this transition stage. If instead you wake and move and look about you draw your full consciousness quickly and pass the transition stage too quickly to explore it. |
