      Practising the Gravity RC.

I began practisingt the gravity RC 2 weeks ago.I did not et any lucids from it yet.I am going to keep practising this until it gets me daily lucid. What i have founs this past 2 weeks is that it gets easier to remember to do it as time goes by.You have to be patient.I can now keep it up for longer periods of time.I am aimin for at least 70% of the day.I still forget to be aware of it some times but i get back on it.It did not transfer to my dreams yet but i am so excited about the moment this happens.I will stick with it.My recall though is a bit off lately.Basically i made this thread to monitor my progress and breakthroughs. If anyone has tips or advices make it sure to post them below.

Can you recall what they feeling of gravity was like in the dream after you wake up? You can recall what you felt, right?

Maybe if you recalled what the feeling of gravity was like in the dream, you can get a better idea of the feeling you're looking for in the dream. Once you know the feeling you're looking for, while awake you could imagine feeling it in a dream and becoming lucid from it.

I'm not sure. All I'm sure of it that you have to know what you're looking for before you can identify it.

I think it's different with this RC because you're focused all day on real gravity then you sense a sudden change = lucid

This is somewhat true but like you said later it is much more about sensing the change in gravity rather than any specific heaviness or lightness, so long as it is different from the normal. In my experience in several dreams, lucid and non-lucid, the gravity has either been many times heavier than normal, making walking a difficult task, or almost nonexistent, where I bounce up and down while running for example. Another key aspect I feel with this is in dreams I often lack the sensation of having a body. I often simply am just a consciousness or just feel my head, so IMO you could and probably should incorporate that awareness of your body into the gravity RC, given the two tie together so well.

Yep, basically you learn what is normal gravity, and train to become aware of this part of yourself such that anything that feels different will become an auto lucid switch. That is the basic idea and how it works for me.

I have never felt the gravity before in a dream. That is what i am trying find out now.But i dont think i have to look for somethin certain.Hukif said in his tutorial
That normal gravity = waking and abnormal = dreaming. So what i think is going happen as i become aeare of my gravity for long periods of time, is to check to see how it feels like in a normal dream and go lucid.Hukif i got 2 questions for you.I read on a thread on this forum that this RC can only make you lucid in dreams with weird gravity. If the gravity is ok the RC is useless. Is this true?I tend to forget about the RC when I interact with people....any advice on that?

You don't need to look for it, tasinios. Just keep focusing on the gravity RC and in time you'll just know that something is not right and assume that youre dreaming.

Thats correct, you just learn and then let it become an habit.
Also yes, if gravity is normal it won't make you lucid; like any other RC it won't work when its the same as in the waking world, it also fails for me every once in a while so its not fail proof.
And I make it part of my interaction with people by using it on my whole body, as if it were my "essence" talking/interacting with others.

How many of your dreams have odd gravity though?Since i never experienced it before how can i know that my dreams are going to have weird gravity.I mean if you experiene lweird gravity in like 70% of your dreams yeah its a good RC.But if you dont that makes it useless.Even if i master this RC i may never have abnormal gravity in a dream since everybody is different right? But i cant know because i never checked for gravity in a dream so i will just wait for it .Dunno, it is exciting and i will keep the practise up.I think the oddities in gravity exist in everyones dreams. We just dont check for them though. Also how much time in to practise did you experience your first GILD(if you allow me to call it like that)?

I become lucid around 99% of the time, so 1 out of every 100?

Also, it took me a whole month to experience my first gravity RC lucid, and then three months to actually master it and get lucid from it on a daily basis.

Also I dunno, too many ILDs, gravity RC is just a way to induce a DILD IMO, but you can call it however you want to, no problem.

Can you explain this a bit more it's very interesting to me - I am with people a lot and am always looking at ways to incorporate interactions with remembering to check my state - thanks a million

Yes, that 99% is gravity induced only.

And basically, you check not only your weight in a physical sense, but your weight in the conversation in an emotional sense. Like how much your own self influences others or viceversa. This way the more people, the stronger your awareness will become, and besides thats easy considering a lot of people suffer from shyness (What do you mean thats me only? EH!?), so yeah.

Off topic.I need some advice for my recall. When i first started i my recall was terrible.I managed to get it better by using alarm clocks after 3, 4,5 ,6 and 7,5 hours of sleep.I was also telling to myself that i will remember my dreams when i wake up.So upon waking up with my alarm clock i used to have a flash from a dream after 1 sec upon waking up.I used that to build my dreams backwards.I had a dream to remember every time i was waking up.It was just hitting me in an instant after waking up.But i got cocky and stopped recording them in my DJ because i was satisfied. For the past month nothing ia happening. The flash is gone.It is like i dont dream. My recall is terrible.2Days ago my bro called me at 04:44 in the mornin while i was sleeping because he forgot his keys.I woke up from that phone call and i could remember the dream instantly. So i believe that if you wake up while or after the dream is happening you can remember it easily.I would like to find a way to wake up naturally or even artificially right after my dreams.I tried drinkin water before bed but it is not working.Any ideas?
