Schema, what are they and how to spot them?

Not sure if I'm even spelling it right but what is it? I am curious because sometimes in NDs I see things that make no sense and have no real form. I also don't pay attention to them, almost deliberately. So what is one and how do I recognize it?

A schema is to your knowledge as an entry is to an encyclopedia. Having your knowledge organized by schema makes it easier to find and retrieve, just as having the information organized by entry makes it easier to find and retrieve in an encyclopedia.

In order to create anything, you have to find the schema for whatever you're creating: assumptions, descriptions, mental images, dreams, ect.

To identify a schema, recall some knowledge and identify which entry of your knowledge you recalled it from. The title of a schema would be the same as the title of an entry in an encyclopedia.

I have a pet dolphin at my house. Where do you think I keep it?
