      What do you think of this reality ckeck technique?

      Here is how i reality check.What i do is ask myself throughout the day ''Am i dreaming?'' After the question i take a look at my suroundings to check if everything is how it is supposed to be.I use my senses to feel the things around me.After that i ask myself. ''Where am i''? ''How much time have i been here?'' ''Why am i here?'' ''Where was i before i come here''.I answer those questions and then perform my reality checks.First i examine my hands.Second RC i do is to try to push my fingers through my pals and after this RC i plug my nose to check if i can breathe.I conclude that i am not dreaming.And after that i say ''Next time i am dreaming i am gonna look at my hands and realize that i am dreaming'' sort of a mantra thing i guess?What do you think guys? Is this a "quality" reality check?Have been doin g this for 10+ days and no lucid dreams yet.

      Hi there tasinios and

      It looks pretty good what your doing - remember to watch out for it getting autopilot or 'blazay' - in other words really honing in to your self with as much self awareness as you can during the RC's and maintaining that as long as poss ...also never come to a solid conclusion in your head that this is not a dream - it's seems better to imagine you are dreaming even just a bit - whatever the outcome

      Read the tutorials and especially those in the welcome and then check the advise with what you are doing,to get a bigger view - that can help you keep your way of practicing fresh...Sounds like your doing great to me

      Very good reality check. You're questioning your state, and this is critical to getting lucid. Your lucid will come soon. Keep going at it!

      Thank you all for your replies.I always think i am close but every morning i get a bit dissapointed.I am keeping at it though.My time will come i think.For now i keep my journal and doing reality checks every day.I think i will begin peactising ADA more and meditation soon for better results.
