My experiences and a few questions

Ok so let me Start off by saying that I have been lucid in exactly 2 Dreams but only for a 1 sec which consisted of me thinking "wait... I'm dreaming"

Now let me tell you one of my Dreams where I became lucid:

My Dream

I was in my House and I passed by my Dad Watching TV in the living room. I then went to my room, I Tried to turn on the light but it didn't turn on. So Subconsciously, since I didn't know I was dreaming I thought, "hmm the Power must have went out." So I turned around and went to the Living Room to tell My Dad but on the way there. I was like wait... Why would the power be out if my Dad was just watching TV. I then realized it was dream. But a Split second after, I was awake in Sleep paralysis.

What Happen After the Dream Ended

When I woke up I sorta of panicked so I tried to sit up. But was in Sleep paralysis. I felt myself move but This Rubber banding force keep pulling me back. (I think it is my Astral Body, Not sure though). Then my conscious mind remembered that it was Sleep Paralysis. I tried to keep calm. I layed there for about 7-12 Seconds in Sleep paralysis. Then after about 10 seconds. I really felt the paralysis, I felt really heavy, not like a weight on my chest but like my blanket was made of lead. Also everything turned really Black. Darker then when i was in the other Sleep Paralysis state. It was a new feeling Since I thought the other state was sleep paralysis. But I tried to keep calm. I thought that maybe that was my dream. and I was just thinking of Black. Which was why I only saw Black. But nothing Happened after a few Seconds of thinking of other thinks. So I Panicked and I consciously woke myself back up.

Kind of upset that I didn't continue to see where the Blackness led. But I'm going to try FILD Tonight.

Anyone can Explain to me what those two different states of Sleep Paralysis were?
Also I have a few questions about FILD if anyone is familiar with it and has done it successfully before.

It's funny how we tend to logically try to explain things in dreams on occasion. The same thing happened to me when I had six fingers on my hand, I kept trying to think of ways I would have gotten the extra finger instead of simply realizing I was dreaming. Anyways, it appears that since you were fighting the sleep paralysis and kinda freaked out at the beginning, the paralysis got worse and worse. It's pretty much that whatever thought pops into your head, mainly a good thought or a bad thought, will influence the hallucinations you experience. The blackness might have very well been a hallucination. Instead of panicking next time, think to yourself "Awesome, I am in sleep paralysis, which means I am almost in a lucid dream." Be happy, not afraid or nervous, while in the paralysis and you should get better results instead of just blackness.

Yea I havent woken up in Sleep Paralysis in almost a week. or Had any Dreams. But last night I had a really Wierd one.

Here is what Happen:

Its seems that I was dreaming that I had a Lucid dream. Or it could have been a Lucid Dreams. But I was in my room. I walked to the bathroom. flipped the light on, again it wouldnt turn on, so since that has already happen to me I knew I was dreaming. I didn't wake up in sleep paralysis this time. So i continued and did a reality check, I pinched my nose and I could feel my lungs fill up. So I was like Awesome ! I walked out of the bath room to the living room. my vision was blurry. Like if I had water in my eyes. I rubbed my eyes and thought OK your in a dream we can make it more vivid. you are in control. I Focused and got it clearer, or so I think I did. But then I went outside. and thought OK now that i'm here I really want to experience flying. So i Jumped and tried to fly but I just jumped and came back down like regular. So i thought hmm maybe im not in a dream. did the reality check again and pinched my nose and I could still breath through it. So i tried again and still nothing. just a regular jump. I thought this is weird why cant i fly. So i looked up and saw a tree branch and thought let me try to grab it. so i jumped and i could grab it although it was about 15 feet up. I was hanging from it then I let go and landed on my feet. and said ok let me try to fly again. but all I did was jump up high and land on my feet. then I don't remember waking up or doing anything else.

I didn't realize I had this dream until about 3 minutes of getting out of bed.

So I don't know what that was.
