After 2 months of trying I'm pretty sure I just had my first LD. It's funny because I'd decided to give it a break the last couple of days. |

I think you were not fully lucid. |

Being lucid is knowing that you're dreaming. So it was a lucid dream, but it was one with low vividness and clarity, but it's still a lucid dream then. |

My Lucid Dreaming Motto - "I have walked upon the the surface of a burning star. Observed events so infinitesimal and instantaneous that they can barely be described as having occurred at all. You... you're just a dream character. And this world's most powerful dream character poses no more threat to me than it's smartest cupcake." - Dr. Manhattan (kinda)
This is referring to a layer 3 lucid dream. Lucid dreams that only reach layer 1 or 2 of lucidity are also valid. The dream in question reached layer 2 of lucidity so technically it was a lucid dream. |

I don't know what the definitions are but the OP knew they were dreaming and to me that's lucid. I have had dreams where I have questioned if I'm dreaming but couldn't figure it out or became distracted by something and then lost within the dreamworld again (or shifted into another scene). |
