Just recognized my first dream
I've been working on dream recall and the like, and last night i had the first dream that I ever noticed was a dream. It wasn't very long, I was in some sort of laboratory and I just all of a sudden asked myself if i was dreaming. I said, ' if this is a dream I can move things with my mind" So I got something and moved it with my mind and then I was like, 'Oh my God! I can move things with my mind, I gotta show my parents". Thus I lost my lucidity...*sigh*.
Whoops, sorry wrong forum.

There is more to Lucid Dreaming than useless parlor tricks. Lucid Dreaming is a Gate that opens up onto the Higher Spiritual Realms. But almost the first thing people do when they discover this Gate is that they do everything they can to destroy it by attacking honest Dream Content with a stubborn egotistical insistance upon imposing their own designs upon every dream detail. To take over absolute control in one's dreams is tantamount to shutting off any Higher Influence that one may have received.
Also, it is this insistance upon Dream Control that sets the Dreamer and the Dreaming Mind against each other. Notice that almost half the posts on this Website deal how the Dreaming Mind is attempting to evade the Control that these Dreamers are attempting to impose. Notice that with your own dream, as soon as you turned into a Destroyer, your Dreaming Mind gave up on you and retreated. You woke up.
Lucid Dreaming should be about making informed choices. It is about awareness. It is about Partnership with one's own Higher Mind and Self, and meeting with the Collective Consciousness. But people treat it like its a cheap video game.

Nobody should decide what Lucid Dreaming should be used for. What people decide to do with there Lucid Dreams should be there own preference. From my own experiences, Dreams are here to relieve me from life's anxieties. If I'm sad in real life, I cry in my dreams. If I'm mad in real life, I get in fights in my dreams, etc etc. A lot of times, I do things that one could consider "destructive" if it have happened in a Lucid Dream, but if it happened in a Non-Lucid, it could be looked upon with a lot of spiritual praise. What would you have said if he moved things with his mind in a Non-Lucid dream? Lets say there is this "Higher Dream Mind", you make it sound like a strict, hard, and punishing mental entity with no sense of humor or fun. Everyone is allready socially limited in waking conscious decisions, why could'nt Lucid Dreaming be a break from that?
