It could not hurt, but you should work up to a dozen or more a day and that could get tiring. |

Here is something I am considering trying: In addition to keeping my dream journal, I am considering keeping a journal of my reality checks that I perform in waking life, and other awareness exercises. Using this method to remember these events should help my brain be more aware of them, and perhaps increase the probability that I will perform a RC in my dreams. Even though I perform each RC with focus, a lot of the time, I think the check just gets forgotten about; that can't be good. I think being able to recall these events with high resolution would help a whole lot. I believe keeping a waking journal in general is a good idea as well, but I am really wanting to focus attention on the checks, and awareness exercises specifically to make a clear vivid memory of each one. |

I can perform up to 30 to 50 reality checks per day at times. Thankfully (and I neglected to mention above) I won't be journaling each and every reality check, rather, I will pick certain ones to journal. These particular reality checks will be performed as thoroughly as possible, and will be longer and more detailed than my normal reality checks that go unrecorded. Today so far, I have performed nearly 30 reality checks, and have recorded 4 of those in precise detail. I also remember each one of those four in my mind's eye, just as I performed it. |

It's not conclusive as of this point as to whether this technique is working, or if it were going to happen anyway, but I achieved 4 LD's last night. I will continue with this method. |

Sounds very reasonable and like it is working. |

Sounds good to me! Just be careful that you still do your unrecorded RCs in a good quality as well and don't slack off. Otherwise I don't see any problems with this method working. Anything that boosts your awareness is definitely going to help you and maybe you will be able to figure out what RCs and which way of performing them is most effective for you. |

Saying there is no alien life in the universe is like dipping a cup in the ocean and saying there are no whales.
Journaling RCs is also fun, when later you do that in your dream, you can see, how long it took for it show up in your dream. And which ones are most common in you dream. Also when you switch to a new RC. Here is a more complete list of thing you can keep, that may help you find patterns - such as supplements or foods and their relation to dream vividness and such http://www.dreamviews.com/dild/13212...ods-dilds.html |
