This is a step towards lucidity! |
|
Last night, though i cant remember it well, i was having a dream about trying to text or read something but i couldnt because the dream was very fuzzy. It was a non lucid dream and at no point did i register that i was dreaming :[ but i did use the technique i read about for improving dream clarity, i said out loud "clarity now!" and then i rubbed my hands together. The dream became crystal clear and i think i was able to continue, though i cant remember what happened after that. It felt like i was actually thinking in the dream, because i remembered that i had read how to improve dream clarity and i remembered what i had read, but i didnt know i was asleep. |

That's really, really cool. I'm impressed! I've never done that in a dream before but, as MasterMind said, you are getting closer. You know you're getting closer to lucidity any time you a) dream about it or b) practice it. |

~ until the very end
Also, just want to say, that the logic center of the brain is shut off until around layer 3 minor. In this layer your consciousness kind of seeps into the dreamworld. You are more aware of things. |

I have become quite interested on the layers of lucidity, and I use them to measure how lucid a dream is. For more information on these layers, click here.
Indeed that's a step closer towards lucidity, it's interesting how sometimes we can use dream control in non-lucid when we think alot about it and more aware, so congrats on progress. I haven"t heard before about using stabilization technique like that though, there are always new things to discover! |

Sounds to me like you were in a sort of lesser aware state. As if your subconscious knew you were in a dream, but your conscious mind didn't. Congratulations on your step forward! |
