I cant get lucid dreams anymore?

Hey guys,I'm new to this forum. Im having difficulty lucid dreaming. I started lucid dreaming about 1 month ago and starting to have a dry spell. This dry spell has actually been going for 2 weeks. Last time I had a lucid dream was almost 2 weeks ago on June 7th. I don't know what is wrong with me. I've been trying the MILD and DILD techniques. I've also started using KingYoshi's ADA with the DILDs. Am I doing something wrong? All I've been getting the past 2 weeks are regular dreams. I get about 2-5 dreams per night and I write them down every morning. However some of them were quite obvious that I was dreaming. Most of the dreams are set in my school, however my school year is over. I wake up every morning mad at myself because I should've realized that I'm on summer break and not in school,so I could've went lucid. I think Im doing it wrong. I try to MILD right as I go to sleep,I do that with DILDs too. Should I set an alarm 4 hours after I go to bed and then try to MILD?

I say don't worry about it. Think back, has anything changed since this dry spell began? If so, is it possible to change back? Have you gone to bed later than usual? Changes in your lifestyle can often change your dream life. You can try a new method if you would like, but it might not be necessary. If you decide to try the alarm clock, use one that isn't very loud, as if you startle yourself awake, you might not be able to get back to sleep very well. You could try keeping a list of lucid goals with you. This will remind you of what you want to do when you get lucid, and keep you motivated. Motivation is a key thing when trying to lucid dream, believe me, as well as belief. You are more likely to get a lucid dream if you believe you will. Or at least that is what I've found. Don't worry. If you worry, you are worrying you won't lucid dream, meaning you are losing the belief part of the technique.

      Good luck and happy dreams!

If you are recalling 2-5 dreams per night, that is excellent work. You have only been at it for 1 month, so you are going to experience some growing pains. Don't worry at all and just make sure you continue to recall those 2-5 dreams per night. Keep practicing your ADA and make sure that, in your mind, you know that you are practicing your ADA in order to become lucid. During your ADA training, be sure to perform a few RCs here and there to reassure your mind that this ADA practice is for lucid dreaming.

Don't get frustrated about not catching ridiculous circumstances because, most of the time, a normal dream is going to have several ridiculous things happening. The deeper you get into ADA, the easier it will be to recognize the dream state simply because it is the dream state. Just keep practicing and keep up the good work.

I'm getting frustrated now. I had about 3 dream fragments last night and 2 false awakenings. I still couldn't go lucid. I tried the WBTB Technique and set my alarm to 5 am and then tried to WILD. I can't find a good strategy for me.... I don't get lucidity with MILDS and DILDS and WILDS are hard for me. I actually just tried to WILD a while ago and I can't induce a lucid dream. All that happens when I try to WILD is that I get into SP and then I get sudden urges to itch myself or to swallow the saliva building up in my mouth and end up waking up. Help please.... :/

Whats also frustrating is that I can't THINK in my dreams. Whenever Im in a dream It feels like Im in a 1st person movie or tv show but Im just watching, and can't think for myself. Any ways to help being able to think in dreams to help achieve lucidity?

Getting frustrated can often cause problems with lucid dreaming. Dry Spells are going to happen and the best way to get out of a dry spell is by forgetting completely that you are having one. Try to act as if you have been lucid every night this month and expect to get lucid again once you fall asleep. I don't think you are doing anything wrong at all as far as your practice is concerned. I just think you are stressing too much. Just try to relax and fall asleep knowing, 100%, that you are going to lucid dream. If you don't, then simply act as if you did and do the same thing the next night. Keep your mind positive and keep up your technique practices. Make sure you are having fun with it and not trying too hard.
