So I attempted the Impossible Movement Induction technique both for a nap yesterday and when trying to WILD this morning. Both times unsuccessfully, but now my wrist hurts, and I am thinking it's related.

The Impossible Movement Induction Technique for those who do not know it is the idea of when trying to WILD, visualizing a movement which would be impossible in waking life, and focusing on repeating it, and if successful one is dreaming.

So I think I was trying to hard and while visualizing bending my finger repeatedly into the mattress, I think I was flexing my muscles there. This repetitive motion despite being barely a motion at all, I think is the cause of my wrist pain this morning. A kind of repetitive movement induced pain. Sigh.
