So last night, i attempted a WBTB with MILD.
I also used MILD when i first went to bed.
I woke up before my alarm for 4:00 (3:20, must have been because of my first MILD)
Sat at my computer for a bit, did some math etc for 40ish minutes.
Then tried to go back to bed (i have a kitten, so he keeps me up a little)
But i found MILD to be really distracting, i must have been laying there for over an hour and i just couldnt get to sleep.
Then i woke up early to a noisy kitten who wouldnt shut up.
My only success was remembering four dreams (two before WBTB two after)
as opposed to my usual one dream.
I was wondering if there are any easier methods for beginners?..
It was a constant battle for me to keep my mind quite and believing.
But even so, im sure i kept telling myself that i WOULD realize im dreaming, and even imagined what i would do in the dream.
So to sumarise, am i doing this correctly?,
Why is it hard for me to use MILD?,
Why is it hard for me to fall asleep using MILD?,
Does it matter that me and my mind constantly fight? Like when you try not to think about something, then you fight to keep it out of your mind? (for example that WBTB wont work..)
Does it matter that i recall lots of my dreams in third person (i think)
And just anything els you can tell me to help a beginner.
SideNote: I have been practicing reality checks, but not for very long (few days)
