Found a personal dreamsign that triggers lucidity every time

I noticed that when I'm dreaming and someone threatens me with physical pain I imediately question my reality. It's something that rarely happens in real life because I'd rather avoid conflict so I usually am not doing anything to provoke another person or if I do manage to provoke someone I can talk my way out of it before they resort to threats. I also noticed when I start to question reality the person threatening me suddenly becomes terrified of me lol. I don't know why other things that don't normally happen don't trigger my lucidity I need to question my reality more lol. Now I really need to work on staying asleep once I become lucid... they only last a few seconds before I wake up and it bugs the hell out of me. I always do some RCs when it happens just to make sure it isn't a F/A but it never is...

There is more to it than that.
I havn't figured it out yet but dream signs and RCs, are not the end of it. There is important things missing that contribute to ld's an how you use your mind.
I have noticed, if you plant suggestions in the back of your mind, over time they will have an effect. Matter of fact I think RCs and dreamsigns only work mostly, because of this princible maybe. Which is somehow making contact with that part of yourself that you are unconsious of and controlling or influencing and making a connection with it to the extent that you gain some integration from your consiousness into sleep.

The same thing happens to me also. I find myself in situations that seem unreal because usally some DC is threatening me and I find myself asking "Is this real". I then go lucid. I somewhat look forward to things chasing me in my dreams because 90% of the time I go lucid.

The monsters sure as hell know that

Curiosity killed the cat but at least it didnt die an ignorant bastard

Too bad I don't get them nightmares anymore
I think it's not that weird you do a RC when something bad happens in a dream. I think if we were threatened by, say, a man with a gun in RL, we'd do a quick RC in the hope it's just a dream.

I wasn't really thinking of the finger-through-hand and nosebreathing RCs
Maybe a subtle one, like looking if your hands are fading.

On second thought, the man with a gun was a really bad example.
