Mantra's, Recall and Prospective Memory - help me

Three things.

First, which mantra should i use?
There are many mantras for various things,
e.g. Recall, LDing itself, waking up, etc.
So which should I use?

Second, I everything I could find on the forums on dream recall,
and I try to make a DJ + a regular daily journal, where I write down my day before I go to bed.
Still, basically no recall. About 1 year ago, when I had my first ~7 LDs, I had better recall.
Now only about 1 dream per day from which I wake up and today I was too annoyed to write it into my DJ.

Third, in the last days I tried to train my prospective memory:
I tried to make a RC everytime I went through a Door.
But - never worked, I only would sometimes remember I were doing this and then walk through a door an doing a RC,
instead of noticing the door and then thinking about it. What can I do?

then I tried to DEILD - with 1 succes. Also training my prospective memory, as written above.
I first knew about LDs a year ago. I had in about 2 months about 7 LDs. Then I stopped and forgot about it for a while until three weeks ago.)

I think your biggest problem is dream recall, then you should focus on your RC's. Your mantra should probably be something like "I will remember my dreams" You first need to remember your dreams before you go lucid, or else what is the point of having a lucid dream if you never remember it? it's like it never happened in the first place. I would try to suggest waking up about 3-4 hours after you go to bed, that helps me to remember all of my dreams.

For prospective memory and remembering to do RC's, there is another thread on here talking about how to help your prospective memory. There was a list of memory triggers that you pick three at random and perform reality checks after each one. The list contained things like seeing people with gloves, hearing someone say hello, hearing someone say sorry, a yawn/sneeze/etc. and there was a giant list, you might be able to find the thread it was at the top pretty recently. So in conclusion you have many goals to achieve here and I suggest putting them in order. First is Dream Recall, then going lucid. After you get good dream recall you might want to switch your mantra. good luck!

I would recommend learning how to wake yourself up whenever (waking up mantra) then you will be able to just decide when you want to wake up later and go to a different mantra.

I agree with the rest from cloudless sky, you need recall. The best thing for recall IMO is to wake up 4 or 5 times through the night. If you read all the stuff they have here, then I am sure you know of the technique for waking up after each REM.

Prospective memory takes time to develop just like ADA, you have to get good at it, there should be some exercises around the internet on how to train it, if I find some good ones I'll send the links to you, I really like the idea and have trying to get into it. For mantra's you might want to look into training meditation or self hypnosis.

I knew this thread, it's probably the one you meant? That's were I got my inspiration, only I'm too lazy to always randomize a list,
and then I would even forget what my triggers were, or only remember a few of them.
Strangely i have a rather good RL-memory though...
But that's exactly my problem. I totally forget my trigger until I think about LDs again so I can't even practice my prospective memory.

Not even once a door led me to think about LDs, always the other way around.

For the mantra, I'm just going to wake up as often as possible.

I would recommend every REM, every 2 hours, or my fav schedule (3, 4, 5, 6, 7 , and 8 hours) for when I am well enough rested.

YEP! you found it haha. and don't worry, once you get your dream recall up and going your other problem might even be solved while solving the first problem!
