I know it depends on the person but are there any nap times that appear to be a "gold mine" for LD's? |

V: Who? Who is but the form following the function of what, and what I am is a man in a mask.
Evey: Well I can see that...
V: Of course you can. I'm not questioning your powers of observation. I'm simply remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is.

I have heard that naps are great, even the afternoon naps, because you are suppose to go straight into REM. I guess you will have to try and see, how long after you wake up in the morning you have a dream in a nap. |
Because lucid dreams can occur during light sleep/dream cycles I would imagine that anytime is a good time to try to become lucid with a nap. |
I have success with afternoon naps. 3pm seems to be a great time, for me (waking at 6:30am most mornings). |
If you don't have your full 8/9 hours of sleep, I think it makes it easier for you to get into REM sleep straightaway when you nap. |
Both of my 2 lucids occured during naps from 4 to 5-6pm. So i would guess it's a great time to LD. xD |
Any excuse for a nap is good, in my opinion. Lets try a nap once per hour to determine the best time. |
Naps are good for LD's, particularly good if you nap after a good meditation session. |

Well, I once woke up at nine in the morning, stayed up for about an hour, went to sleep, and had a lucid dream, so it's possible that early morning naps are quite effective. However, I've heard far more success stories from afternoon naps than I have morning naps, so you might have more success with the second. |
