      Need help with MILD.

So I've been doing the MILD technique to where I'm waking up during the night due to the mantra I repeat before I go to sleep ("I will wake up after every dream period, and I remember my dreams.") but once I'm awake, I've tried visualizing my dreams to where I go back into them, but it doesn't work at all. Please, criticize what I'm doing and tell me if I'm doing this right or not, and anything else you could add to help me become lucid! Thanks!

You are MILDing to wake up, but you DEILD in order to get back in to the dream.

Guides to that if you want them DEILD is a type of WILD, you go directly into the dream from waking consciousness. MILD is a type of DILD, you become aware in the dream do to RCing, a dream character telling you, or noticing something wrong, or what seems like random chance (these happen more often than the others amazingly enough).

      This is a MILD tutorial.

I hope this helps. Good luck and sweet dreams.

I agree with BrandonBoss. It seems like you are trying to DEILD. MILD is more on using mantras to help you achieve lucidity. For example, you tell yourself before bed repeatedly "I'm dreaming" so that when you're dreaming, the thought carries over, and you become lucid.

However, mantras can also be used for a lot of things, such as what you are doing which is using mantras to help you wake up. Check out the links BrandonBoss gave. Good luck!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
