This method has been already thought of, have seen it somewhere else. It is said to work. Currently experimenting with it. |

So I was reading a thread when I thought to myself "What if giving yourself pleasure after each lucid dream, could cause the brain to naturally induce more lucids?" |

Live your life the way You want to live it, not by how others want it to be lived.

I've heard of other people using a reward system. I started it, too, recently - I can play Sims 3 if I have an LD. If I don't have an LD; I can't play it all morning (or all day if I have no recall). |

I'm pretty sure that for this to work, it would need to be something that pleases the subconscious mind. Something that the mind wants you to do. Games please the conscious mind, your brain doesn't care if you play games. Thus masturbation would work (If the method works at all, and it does seem feasible). |

Subconsciously, I love Minecraft.. |

I used to do this all the time. Every time i had a LD, i would buy myself coffee and doughnuts in the morning before school/work. |

More like pinching myself every time I don't have one. Wait, of course it all makes sense now! If pain causes your subconscious to avoid situations that bring itself pain, then the more pain I get, the more lucid dreams I get. Hmmm, maybe if I start off with a hammer down on my leg joints anytime my lucid dreaming fails me then I will start to see results. If that immediately doesn't work I can always put my hand down the garbage disposal. The pain might be so great I just need one session. I AM A JEANIOUS. |
