Pleasure to induce more lucids? Just an idea.

So I was reading a thread when I thought to myself "What if giving yourself pleasure after each lucid dream, could cause the brain to naturally induce more lucids?"
So I really started thinking, and it seems rather plausible to reward oneself with whatever pleasures the said person. So every time you wake up from a lucid dream, after you jot it down in a DJ, you do something that rewards the mind with pleasure, be it masturbation or candy or whatever. Does this seem likely to work at all?

This method has been already thought of, have seen it somewhere else. It is said to work. Currently experimenting with it.

      Ah, thanks for the info!
It seems like it takes true genius to come up with something new nowadays. So many minds think alike.

I've heard of other people using a reward system. I started it, too, recently - I can play Sims 3 if I have an LD. If I don't have an LD; I can't play it all morning (or all day if I have no recall).

I got lucid last night, though, but I didn't even think about playing Sims 3 today (I wanted to play Wind Waker instead). I think I'm going to extend this to all video/computer games instead.

That means I have to get lucid tonight so I can play Wind Waker before school tomorrow! >:3

      Zelda FTW!
Maybe I should start doing this. If I don't have an LD, I can't do anything enjoyable the next day, that includes my daily morning bootcamp routine.. AH! I need to lucid dream.. lol

I'm pretty sure that for this to work, it would need to be something that pleases the subconscious mind. Something that the mind wants you to do. Games please the conscious mind, your brain doesn't care if you play games. Thus masturbation would work (If the method works at all, and it does seem feasible).

Having a Lucid Dream rewards my mind with much more pleasure than any other thing I know. The only way for me to do it, would be to reward my mind with another LD...

Masturbation seems to hinder my ability to LD...so that's a no for me...

I used to do this all the time. Every time i had a LD, i would buy myself coffee and doughnuts in the morning before school/work.
Eventually i had to stop because i was having doughnuts for breakfast every day XD

More like pinching myself every time I don't have one. Wait, of course it all makes sense now! If pain causes your subconscious to avoid situations that bring itself pain, then the more pain I get, the more lucid dreams I get. Hmmm, maybe if I start off with a hammer down on my leg joints anytime my lucid dreaming fails me then I will start to see results. If that immediately doesn't work I can always put my hand down the garbage disposal. The pain might be so great I just need one session. I AM A JEANIOUS.

That's BS. You don't summon a bed in a LD so you can have another LD until your 20,000 dreams under the covers. and life doesn't revolve around dreaming.

Actually, I'm rewarded with the LD itself... So, I don't mind having another one until the next time, whenever it happens.
