For the last week, I have had one lucid dream every two days

This is a big leap forward for me, and I have only been doing this for about 4 1/2 months, so I thought I would share what I have been doing, very briefly:

      1. Asking my subconscious mind to "Please give me the ability to lucid dream at will, and please give me a meaningful lucid dream tonight."

      2. 10 hand reality checks per day (I carry a pen with me, and, as I do them randomly throughout the day, I check them off on my left hand).

      3. Meditate for a few seconds, maybe up to a minute on the throat chakra (just imagine a glowing blue ball at your Adam's apple) randomly throughout the day. Also asking the throat chakra to please give me the ability to lucid dream at will, and please give me a meaningful lucid dream tonight.

      4. When I wake from a non-lucid dream, lie back down, put myself back in the dream, and imagine myself becoming lucid when I see a dream sign, then telling myself that I when I go back into this dream, I will become consciously aware.

      5. Lastly, I listen to lucid dream recordings and vids, and read the books every spare minute I get.

I cannot yet lucid dream at will. If I could, I would be having one every time I went to sleep (at least for now, I'm sure I'd calm down eventually). Still, for someone who has not been at it all that long, it is pretty impressive. I hope it is helpful to those of you who are having difficulty at it.

Congrats! I have been telling people on this forum (for years now) that if you awaken from a non-lucid dream simply visualize the dream you were having and remind yourself to awaken in the dream. The human brain likes to complete an unfinished dream. Now, you might not return to the exact dream but, symbolically at least, it will probably return to the same subject matter.

      Great. Thanks for sharing!
Your post is an inspiration for the novice and the experienced alike.
Maybe you could share some of your LD adventures in the future from your journal?
      Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys. It really seems to be helping me in many areas of my life, and, when you get something good, you ought to give back. I hope it is helpful to others.

I end up daydreaming if I try re-entering the same dream. However telling myself to be aware I'm dreaming the next time I am randomly walking around after doing a WBTB is helpful for me.
